    Default changed header & something went wrong

    I tried to change the header image for my store, but now no header image shows up & the template that I chose isn't working any more either. Any suggestions as to why this would happen?

    TIA

    We would need to know what you changed, or better still, see the site.

    http://www.heavenlycreationsoklahoma....php?main_page=

    CAPITALIZED words refer to a folder or language that you choose. We use CUSTOM for your template and ENGLISH for your language by default. These generic terms should be changed to the name of the template/language you are using.

    By default Zen Cart uses header_bg.jpg for the name of this image, but you can use you own filename for the background image.
    Using an image editor, create a new background graphic and save it to includes/templates/CUSTOM/images/your_header_image.???.

    Now open your stylesheet.css and find or add the following code.

    #logoWrapper {
    width:760px;
    height:110px;
    background-image:url(../images/your_header_image.???);
    background-repeat:no-repeat;
    }
    Change the file name to that of your own header image, adjust the width and height to those of your header image, save the stylesheet and upload both files to your server.

    I then saved the stylesheet to includes/templates/CUSTOM/ccs. The image header is showing up like it should now, but the page colors are still washed out looking. The template is supposed to be Blue Sky.

    I can't explain why your header image isn't showing up as when I look at your site in Firefox 2 or Internet Explorer 7, I can see it.

    I can explain why your template isn't working as expected:

    The sideboxes are missing becasue when you enable a template you also need to go to the Admin > Tools > Layout Boxes Controller page and active the side boxes you want (or press the reset button at the bottom to activate most of them in one go).

    The overall look is not fully working because you don't have the right stylesheet for your template. You are using the Blue Sky template, but your stylesheet is a rather older one that I suspect is based on that which came with one of the first Zen Cart 1.3.0 releases (you do have the blue sky buttons though).

    Replace the stylesheet.css that has somehow found its way into your includes/templates/blue_sky/css directory with the one that comes with the Blue Sky template.

    Okay, so I put back the orignal stylesheet.css and now the template is correct, but my header image has disappeared again.

    Never mind I got the image back on now.

    Thanks
