What does this instruction from the install file of the Zen Button Construction Kit actually mean?



Perhaps if I knew where to place the zen_bck folders in my cart, I could see something besides error messages and code. I currently have it placed it in my www directory, due to the DO NOT merge instruction above.

I suppose this question is really basic, since the placement wasn't really spelled out in the zen_bck_install.html.

Zen Button Construction Kit is a stand alone application.

You should be able to access it by typing the following in your browser address bar ( YOUR_DOMAIN.COM/zen_bck_install )

I finally saw the zen_bck buttons with the file placed in my WAMP localhost/MYSITE directory "root" (at the level of admin and includes). I saw it by placing in the WAMP browser: http://localhost/MYSITE/zen_bck.

This was an amazing result and felt like a milestone. I hope it will be clear how the buttons integrate with the Spanish Language pack when I move on to that next step.

My WAMP server is version 5.2 and online it is 5.1.6, so the buttons should be fine from that standpoint.

This is really a nice application.

When using this cart button generator for Zen Cart, I click through the tabs choosing font, styles, colours etc. When I have the perfect setup I click download and recieve a full page of this error message.

-Warning: getdate() [function.getdate]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /home/advancew/public_html/demo/buttons/pclzip.lib.php on line 2134

I've never seen anything like that.
What is the environment (server, operating system, php level..) you are using this in?

I click Zencart, copy the text I need on the buttons, choose my layout, Click continue, then the "Download" button beneath it to get the images downloaded, and that brings me to a page spammed with :

I assume it's one message, per image?

Sounds like incorrect time zones in php.ini or something...
has anyone PM'd the guy? I like this tool - If I knew it was going to break I may have downloaded all the combonations!

I don't think they are referring to the zen_bck module.

maybe the title of this thread is a confusing in relation to its actual prime content.
