Default Porting OsCommerce modules to Zen-Cart

Has anyone written even a brief guide to pitfalls / gotchas / tips on doing this? Do most of the tep_* functions translate more or less to zen_* equivalent? I'm having some success porting a blacklist module but was wondering if anyone knew of a forum posting or document online somewhere that would be helpful.

    Thanks!

was initially trying to port the sqlpatch.php to CRELoaded and got really stumped until the link in this post helped me througha couple errors, still never got it going. So now im gonna try and get some of the minor contribs from CRE over to Zen if possible (which anything is possible) IM starting with the Algozone Fraud Screen. If it has already been ported tell me i would love for someone to beat me to it :)

Others will come soon enough. I have started a really kewl website called contributioncentral dot com. Alot of stuff there will be completely free, most things will be only a $5 donation and my emphasis is on attracting contribution seekers, and getting work on installs and template work, and of course support for stuuf tha i have become familiar with. Its a learning process but i am devoting ALOT of time to it and will be gaining ground in the coding community very fast. I will post more about me in a more suitable part of these forums later :) Thanks again :)

Come .. please share your module porting experience/tips.

Give some guide. I am trying to port Rewards module from OSC to Zen cart.

Once the original porting done I plan to add some of my idea into it.
