Default File Attribute - dropping file name

I have recently set up a cart that I need users to be able to upload a file when they select their products. It works, but when the file is uploaded, the system cuts off the file name and replaces it with "order number.zip, .jpg, gif, etc..." This is fine, but when I get the email confirm, it says the file name that I am suppose to look for in the uploads folder.

Does anyone know how to fix this so it does not cut off the name of the file?

It looks like order_id.ext ... it is really next filename_id.ext

This is listed in the Admin ... Customers ... Orders ... when you view the order it tells you both the number (what it was renamed to) and the original name ...

You cannot use the original name as that could be duplicated ...

At some future release we will be looking into beefing up the file uploads so that they are easier to manage for the Admin as that gets re-written ...
