Just got zencart installed and am working on setup. I'm putting in my categories, and the field is too short by about 5 characters or so. Can't get in the full category info. Is there a way to customize this, so it will take a few more keystrokes?

We don't have 5 character category info ... umm ... where do you think you are when you see these limited 5 character displays?

Okay ... so I cannot read right all of the time ...
You can expand the sizes of the fields in the database tables themselves ...
Just be careful that any time you change a field that you check for other places a field may also be used such as on orders ...'
In this case, the categories_name is just in the categories table so you have just the one place to change its size ... it is set to varchar(32) so go to something logical such as varchar 48 ... logical meaning a coder would look at it and think nothing of the value of the size because it makes geek sense ...
