Default Problem with returning info from paypal - 1.3.7 upgrade, express checkout

issue with Paypal - could be due to an additional MOD I've added, but....

    Code:
We were not able to process your order. Please try again, select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. (Invalid HTTP Header)
appears on confirmation page after entering test CC info at paypal site -

any ideas? Earlier, I had a conflict while using a discount mod - I can reproduce that if required for debug -

    thanks in advance -

Have you tested on a clean install?

sadly - - no. I was hoping to cheat & just add updated files without having to redo my CSS & other templates & mods all over again.... wishful thinking that it was an easy fast fix

Ah, well - I'll give that a whirl & post results. After new year's...

I'll bet Graffi is having the same issue I am having.

[31-Dec-2006 05:08:15] PHP Warning: reset() [<a href='function.reset'>function.reset</a>]: Passed variable is not an array or object in /home/battery/public_html/usa2/includes/modules/order_total/ot_tax.php on line 38
[31-Dec-2006 05:08:15] PHP Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /home/battery/public_html/usa2/includes/modules/order_total/ot_tax.php on line 39

The errors point to the tax module. So I removed everything related to tax in the Location / Tax area of Admin. The problem went away.

A clean install with out setting up taxes does not show this issue.

Silly question- is Gzip on or off on your server?

    Dennis-

If you turn it off does the error persist?

Here is what I see. If Gzip is off the error shows all the time. If Gzip is on the only time the error shows is if I charge tax on shipping. Hope this helps

By default ... if you have GZip set to 0 but then test your site at:

    http://www.whatsmyip.org/mod_gzip_test/

NOTE: you need a full URL to test like:
    http://www.my_domain.com/index.php

Does it test as GZip On or Off when you have GZip turned OFF in your Zen Cart Admin?

How about if you have GZip ON in your Zen Cart Admin?
