why they are blank?
No idea.
Perhaps your database didn't install properly?
Perhaps your table-prefixes didn't build correctly?
The way the code is written, that should never happen ... and I've never seen it happen before.
Were there any warnings/errors that you chose to ignore on the System Inspection page?
What are your system/server's specifications?

Hey DrByte,
I have run afoul of the same database patch issue, albeit with afresh install of 1.3.7 after importing my database from 1.3.5. Here's the error:
The error shows up at the top of the page of both the shop and the admin.Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Tools->Server Information to review patch levels.
When going to the Tools->Server Information page, I don't know what information I am looking for or what further steps to take to address the issue.
I have attached a zipped PDF of my zc_install/techsupp.php.
All help greatly appreciated.

Hi guys,
Still unsuccessful in "patching" database or otherwise removing the bright red warning quoted above. On the cusp of taking the site live, but need to remove this warning before going further. The warning wasn't there when the database was empty. Only after populating the table with the 1.3.5 data.
All help appreciated. You can see the store here: http://bender.liquidweb.com/~limoleds/zc1370/
Thanks in advance,
Mark Harrison
Upgrade the database.

Hi Kim,
Thanks for the tip. I also found this forum thread helpful: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...t=patch+levels
What I figured out was that I did a clean install of 1.3.7 and then added my 1.3.5 backup data to my new empty 1.3.7 database after this step. This is when the patch level warnings appeared. I also found this to be true at my remotely hosted site (Linux) as well as my local development site (Macintosh). Thus, I don't believe this to be an Linux specific issue.
The key on both of my sites was to simply re-run the Zen Cart installer in order to have the database upgraded. Once this was done, all warnings disappeared.
Thanks again. Hoping to go live within 48 hours.
Regards,
Mark Harrison
