1.3.6 to 1.3.7 what patch to download

I went to the forge to get an upgrade for my ZC instllation and I found several of them. An admin patch, and a few "full" versions.

I have to say that I am pretty experienced in working with ZC but those files are a bit confusing. What's the Admin patch? A
And the "Patched full" version is one where the admin patch is included?

When going to download an upgrade I would like to see something like:

1.3.7 full
1.3.6 > 1.3.7 patch
1.3.5 > 1.3.7 patch

and so on.
At this point I am not sure what to download and install, I'll take them all down and read the txt files, but am I the only one getting a bit confused?

Specifically, what do I have to download to upgrade 1.3.6?

By the way, what sort of issues are there with the database?
Do I need to update it too or can I just overwrite my files with the new version?

I was pretty religious when I customized ZC i using the override directories, so in that regard I can probably just upload the new version, but what of the database?

You would want the patched full version.

There are no specific patches for one version to one other version; the installer will automatically detect what patches need to be applied, and upgrade from whatever version you have to the currrent version.

You will want to upgrade the db too. Instructions will be in the documentation bundled with the download. Make sure you have a full backup of files and db before you start.

Thank you for the replay. I winMerged the fiels locally and I am uploading them to the server as we speak. Then I am also uploading the installation dir to update the database.
Did I do something wrong? Should I have just uploaded the installation directory and then run the update?

Or am I OK with uploading the updated files and just run the database update?

I can easily revert the files I just uploaded as I have full backups available and all I'd have to do would be to extract the old directories locally and then proceed as normal with the update.

Honestly I did not know that ZC had this kind of update system. Previously I had just used Fantastico but I have abandoned the Fantastico route for Zen Cart and other scripts I work with.
