Continuous redirect back to beginning

I'm installing zen cart and when I get to the server settings stage of installing and click on "Save System Settings" I am redirected back to the beginning of installation.

I have no idea what is going on. I have installed zen cart many times and have never had this happen. Any ideas?

Is this on the same host as you have installed on before or a different host?

Different host. I've never worked with this host before.

Any idea what it could be?

On the earlier check page did you get any errors or warnings? i.e. php etc

Two warnings

PHP API Mode = cgi Click here for more info
PHP Max Execution Time per page = 500

and

Register Globals = ON Click here for more info

yes, the first one says "Running PHP as CGI can be problematic on some Linux/Unix servers.

Windows servers, however, "always" run PHP as a cgi module, in which case this warning can be ignored"

It is a Unix server, would this cause the problem?

the second says "Zen Cart™ can work with the "Register Globals" setting on or off. However, having it "off" leaves your system somewhat more secure.

If you wish to disable it, and your hosting company won't turn it off for you, you might try adding this to an .htaccess file in the root of your shop (you may have to create the file if you don't already have one):
php_value session.use_trans_sid off
php_value register_globals off
#php_value register_globals off
<Files ".ht*">
deny from all
</Files>
or talk to your hosting company for assistance."

Any suggestions?
