Enabling PayPal checkout on Zen-Cart 1.2.4.1

Hello, we are running Zen-Cart 1.2.4.1. Our customer has just asked us to start accepting the payment via PayPal.

We have never configured this before, and I wanted to please ask for guidance in setting this up or point me in the right direction.

While in admin, I see PayPal IPN in Modules/Payment and it has an INSTALL button.

1. Is this as easy as pressing the button and then filling out the information from the PayPal account?

2. If this is the case, what do I need to do to actually enable the checkout via Paypal, like changing what option?

3. Does it have to be Business or can it be also Personal?

4. What benefit will it bring if we upgrade to the newest version for this goal?

I would truly appreciate anyone taking their time out of their busy schedule to assist me with this.

Wow ... 1.2.4 ... hmmm ... I hope you can convince them to plan on upgrading sometime soon. .... bugfixes, security fixes, etc.

There's a lotta extra information there to help you understand the bigger picture of how things work.

PayPal Express Checkout setup is smarter and more seamless and reliable, but that's only available in v1.3.7 ...
