cart error Paypal Website Payments Standard Integration

    Hi there!

I have successfully integrated the Paypal IPN to Zen-Cart. Task #1 accomplished. :)

However, I would like to customize it a bit more. Here is my issue...

I have set Zen-Cart up to calculate tax and shipping base on the customers locations. The cart breaks down and displays the item cost, shipping, taxes and total. This is great! However, when the customer is directed to Paypal (payments standard) to pay only the total is transfered to the paypal shopping cart and not the breakdown as seen in Zen-Cart. Therefore, in Paypal the shipping and tax fields are $0.00. I would like to be able to send the breakdown so that Paypal displays the breakdown as it does in Zen-Cart.

I talked to Paypal and they said it is a function of the shopping cart. (i.e. Zen-Cart only sends the total and not the breakdown to Paypal).

I truly appreciate any help with this issue.

    Thank you in advance!

    Adam

PayPal IPN does not break down the parts of the order ...

In v1.3.7, PayPal Express is capable of doing the break down for you ...
