Attribute Sub-Levels

Hi, I apologize if I am repeating but I searched by every keyword I could think and browsed countless threads to no avail...

I am building a site to sell custom wheels and accessories and one of the major hurdles is the breakdown of Year/Make/Model.

Does Zen have any way of breaking down each Option Name based on another Option Name? (preferrably Dropdown).

For Example: if I choose the value "Ford" in the option name "Make", is there any way to display a new dropdown for Model with only the specific models from Ford?

I know this can be done by inserting the values manually, but I have 43 Makes with countless Models, not to mention the difference in each year.

Any suggestions?

Zen Cart does not currently allow such breakdowns within the individual product listing. It might be possible to write custom code to do this.

The way that would work is to start the breakdown in the categories tree.
You could have top cats of wheels, etc with subcats of makes, and breaking down from there in whatever order works best. The individual product could have options for which year it fits.

Just a general thought - I know the implementation will be complex.
