Alpha Sorter

I wish to turn off the alpha sorter on all pages not just the products page.

Do I need to edit a file to do this?

Include Product Listing Alpha Sorter Dropdown
Do you want to include an Alpha Filter dropdown on the Product Listing?

That still leaves the dropdown box on the New and Featured products pages.

The alpha sorter is not on the New and Featured Page ... that is a sorter for different ways to display the Products:

Product Name ascending
Product Name descending
Model
New to Old
Old to New
Low Price to High Price
High Price to Low Price
