    Default Virtual product delivery

I would like to use the cart to sell "virtual" products ie. downloadable images. I have figured how to add downloadable products. My question is if a customer purchases say 5 images after they check out they are presented with 5 download links (1 for each file they purchased) Is it possible to configure the cart to "fetch" the files that were purchased and create a zip file from them, so my customers only have to download 1 file?

I have searched all over and can't seem to find what I am looking for, however searching for zipped downlaods and zencart does give ALOT of results

I would apprecaite any help anyone can offer

    Jeff

That's an interesting question. Would make a great contrib.

I might have a use for this in the future as well.

I know there are other packages out there which will do this, like Gallery2, but not within Zen Cart, as far as I know.

Gee ... 5 downloads ... all over 2 meg ... zip them ... broke server limits for files ... connection glitches ... gotta start over ... again and again and again ... oops ran out of download attempts ... best contact the site ... 2700 customers later ...

Nope ... we haven't done anything about this idea at this time ... perhaps later on we will look into this further when we re-write the downloads to be easier, friendlier, smarter, etc.

I understand that there would be "issues" however for me personally none of my files would be that big, and I would be well within my servers limits.

However I do realize that wouldn't be the case for everyone wanting to sell virtual goods.

Thanks for letting me know it wasn't just me overlooking it
