Initial install problems.

This is a bit complicated so please bear with me. I have a web site already installed and running, but wishing to update an older program saw Zen cart and liked it. Then decided the best way would be to build it on 'localhost' then upload to a test site to 'prove' it.
Built it, apart from one or two 'tidies' it's ready to hang on the test site. OK so far?
I have uploaded it, complete with the pages I need from the older site, added zen cart in a 'catalog' directory on it's own with links from old site to catalog/index.php.
When I 'call' for the catalog it's URL defaults to http...../catalog/zc_install/index.php I don't want to 'do' that otherwise I will lose all my build work.
Please, I need help!!

If you don't need the zc_install directory, delete it.
