Default read only attribute value size too small/ import html in read only attribute value

    hi,

I am using read only attributes to display extra information to the customer, however, for most cases the amount of text I can use (by inputting in option values screen) is not enough. Is there a way to increase this limit?

Is there a way of using the read only attribute to include another file to be used as the text and getting around the limitation this way? Help will be greatly appreciated.

    nazza

I have this problem as well. I have tried to change the value length of the option name but I still can't input more than about 30 characters.

OK this was simple to resolve, need to go into phpmysql for your your database, find: zen_products_options_values and then change products_options_values_name varchar from 64 to whatever you need.

I don't think you can set the value to anything over 255 though.

There is an issue with line breaks on this if you have a loooong value, I did a search and found another thread on it here: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38386
