Add custom images to each category on the product listing page?

I'd like to add an image at the top of the product listing for a category. E.g., under category Guitars, the will be a custom picture of a guitar on the product listing page. Is there any css code I could use? How would I do this?

As all categories share the same tag you would have to add tags for each category and then never change them or add to them as this defeats the dynamic nature.

If you add one you have to edit the appropriate files to also add a tag + image for any new category

Ok, so I have to edit each category file separately which I assumed. What files do I edit to find where to add a tag in the product listing page for categories?

there is a far easier way of doing this, that can be done via the admin back end panel:

go to:

Catalogue >> Products / Categories >> (Select Category) >> Insert Image (and / or text).

This will only bring up that image or text when category is selected.
