    Default sorry, we're not shipping to your region -- on free items

    Certain and not all customers are getting an error while trying to checkout.

    Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region. Please contact us for alternative payment methods.

    I have checked my regions and nothing is applied and I have deactivated and reactivated each payment method. This is not helping.

    Does anyone have another idea for getting rid of this problem?

    The error reads: Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region. Please contact us for alternative payment methods.

    I have checked my regions and nothing is applied. I have deactivated and reactivated each payment method. I do not have any regions applied to my payment methods. I checked other threads and have tried everything.

    Does anyone have another idea for getting rid of this problem?

    V 1.3.7 and I had the same problem before upgrading from 1.3.6

    You have to have a zone set somewhere for either payment or shipping

    I just triple checked both my payment & shipping modules and there is no zone set.
    Can there be anything else causing the problem?

    This only happens with free items.

    Can you please provide the steps to reproduce this?

    ie: From a fresh, brand new install of Zen Cart, how can I set up the store in such a way that this can be triggered on demand ? including details on products, zones, modules, etc

    I have no idea how to recreate it. I have not tried a fresh install and that is what I was trying to avoid.

    Address from MA cause the problem when trying to checkout with a virtual product.

    Here is one of the products that cause it

    Downloads are:

    1 NOT Virtual Products

    2 NOT Always Free Shipping

    Downloads know that they are downloads ... they know how to manage shipping ...

    Check your Product Settings ... do you have this product marked as:

    Product is Virtual? If YES change to NO

    Do you have this product marked as Always Free Shipping? If YES, change to NO ...

    Does this work now?
