Can You Set A Product Time Period?

Is it possible to set a time period that a product is available for purchase, for instance say an item are only available mondays, wednesdays and fridays?

I either want the product to not be visible on tuesday/thursday for customers or if that is not possible, I want zen cart to prevent the customer from being able to add that item to their cart.

If you know a way to do this, I would sure appreciate it.

Anything is possible ... this is Zen Cart ...

You could add a new field to the products and use this as a controlling field for the days the product is allowed to be purchased ...

Then, modifying the add to cart button function it can check the product for this field and if blank, always show, if not blank determin if it is the right day to show ...

It would take a bit of work, but it can be done ...
