Template override for emails?

Hi,

I try to replace the default email header logo with our company logo.
I tried to use the template override system in the email folder by putting a new folder in it with the changed files, but it did not work.
The only way I could manage it to rename our logo to "header.jpg" and replaced with the default picture.
Is the override system supposed to work in this folder, or it is my wishfull thinking only?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes.

Overrides only work where you see a classic directory.

I have changed the imagefile in /public_html/email (header.jpg) to my logo, but still the default zen logo is displayed on my emails.

How can i change that ?
