    Default php 5 problem

    moved server yesterday. It has PHP 5 installed.

    I'm getting errors.

    This is my current one.

    Fatal error: Cannot use object of type queryFactoryResult as array in /home/l0tus01/domains/DOMAIN/public_html/lotshop/includes/classes/order.php on line 639


    my shop version here is about 1.2.4

    Upgrading is not an option.

    Upgrading to php5 is also probably not an easy option...check with your host to see if they also have php 4.x installed and how to enable

    It's my server. I installed php5 because of other software that is needed.

    I don't use most of the features of the shop so I'm just moving error by error to get it to work.

    If your server and LAMP > you can install both versions of PHP quite easily

    Yes, there is a wealth of this info on the php site, apache site, etc..

    Basically, one is main and run as an apache mod and the other is run under cgi-

    Chrome Orange, I'm curious to see if you had any other problems when upgrading to PHP5, as I too am running an older version of ZC - 1.2.5. I'm on a shared host, but I have access to both PHP4 & 5 - I'm trying to access PHP5 for a particular script and I'd hoped to avoid running the whole site on PHP5, but it looks like I might have to go down that route.

    Before I make the leap of faith I guess I'd like to know how this is going to affect me ahead of time.
