    Default SSL carrying to all pages after log in

    I recently set up my SSL to keep our client's information secure when they log in and make purchases.

    Once they have logged in however every subsequent link (for example if they decide to continue shopping) is also secure which is causing a security pop up "this page contains both secure and unsecure information". I know how to stop my browser from doing this but many people may not and I beleive having all the pages secure will cause delays.How do I stop the site from using the SSL on pages other than the check out pages when a customer decides to continue shopping or browsing?

    Thanks as always.

    You have two URLs in the configure.php ...

    One for non-secure and one for secure ...

    Change the:
    HTTP_SERVER

    To just be your site;
    define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.your_domain_name.com');

    Then, providing you have the enable secure turned on or set to true this will work automatically for you:
    define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true');

    I hadn't updated the admin/includes/configure (had the ip and not the domain in that one) file but the includes/configure.php file is already as you mentioned. I verified that I don't have http"s" in the name.

    Does ZenCart secure all pages once a customer logs in if I have my ssl turned on? Also, even when I log out it still remains on the secure sever.

    I left the below defines as false but I have the secure at checkout set to true...could this be the problem?

    define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'false');
    define('ENABLE_SSL_ADMIN', 'false');

    Thanks again!

    Is there maybe a way to secure all the information on the page to stop the pop up instead?

    Is there a reason that once I log into an account and it goes secure that it stays on the https server when I view easy pages without customer information? This only started happening resently and the ssl has been on and working for a few weeks without a problem.

    Here's a link in case you'd like it... https://www.############teacher.com/index.php?main_page=login

    When I go from this page to the "classroom" for example it is still on the https server.
