Suddenly i'm getting Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in ot_gv.php

Probably not - - you can get the 1.2.7 files from the download area at Source Forge
Or you can diff the two versions as I could be all wet

Thanks Kobra
I tried 1.3.7 locally and all seems fine.
Then I checked back on the remote server
and fatal errors have disappeared...dunno whats goin on
but maybe the server was having a bad hair day...
I'll just sit tight and see how it goes.
Cheers

Hello,
Did anyone ever figure out what the issue was here? I'm seeing the same thing when I go to Admin -> Modules -> Order Total:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in
/catalog/includes/modules/order_total/ot_gv.php on line 29
Trying to upgrade from 1.2.x to 1.3.7, and most everything else worked fine. Just really wondering what is wrong here, and what to do to fix it? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any insight or guidance!!
For me, this issue has been resolved. It stemmed from the fact that there are a lot of unused files left over from the 1.2.x installation that apparently interfere with the 1.3.x upgraded installation. Thanks to Dr.Byte in another post, after removing the old files (see /docs/changelog-*) for deleted files between versions, deleting these fixed this issue, and who knows how many others.
Thanks for this great forum!
hey guys, suddendly i´m with rthe same problem: in modules-order total the message:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/www/vhost/bellezaisis.com/home/html/shop/includes/modules/order_total/ot_gv.php on line 29
but, i have version 1.36 and i can´t change it to 1.37 !!!
do you know what´s wrong?
I found that this problem was a result of upgrading (we did not start with an empty/blank directory, copied the original and upgraded -- overwriting files) when I did not remove the old versions of several files which were no longer used. Some of the older (now extra) files introduced conflicts with the newer upgraded files/version, which seems to have caused this error message in my case.
Did you recently upgrade to 1.3.6? Are you having troubles upgrading to 1.3.7 (other than this message)?
Take a look at this other post to see if it is of any help:

I would suggest having a look at each version-to-version ChangeLog file to make sure you didn't miss anything (i.e. extra file removal) during the upgrades.
Hope this helps.
thankīs for your suggestion, but this isnīt in my opinion the factor that generates this problem, because i have installed version 1.3.6 in a clean installation, without upgrading.
Yesterday, this problem became out, without intervention on my mine!!??
i still havenīt found the explanation...
