alt= / alt text setup / programming

Thought I had posted this yesterday, bt I can't seem to find it so if this ends up being a duplicate posting I apologize...

I have one site with the alt text (alt-) apparently working just fine, and another site where no alt text shows up.

Is this a function of the stylesheet or a function of an admin menu or is it a rudimentary programming task on one or more PHP pages?

I have looked and looked in the forums and in the admin/menus to no avail. Although I may have been looking at the answer and not seeing it as I am still learning my way around the menus and the terminology...

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be eternally grateful...

Are you using the same template on both sites?

It should be in the css file, unless you made the alt text in the ez pages or define pages. Then I'm at a loss of where it would be.

No, I am not using the same template for both sites.

But apparently I ahve resolved the problem without knowing what I did to resolve it... As of this evening, both sites are behaving exactly the same as far as the alt tags go...

If it comes up again, I'll bring it up here again with links to the sites. Till then thanks for the response and we'll just keep our fingers crossed that we did fix it permanently...
