Default Re: Backup MYSQL Plugin - no backup button

My safe_mode is set to off, but the backup button is still not showing up. Is there another way to back up the data?

New issue to Backup MYSQL Plugin:

I've installed Zen-Cart with Backup MYSQL Plugin on a other server (Suse 9.3).

    admin/backups = chmod 777
save_mode = Off (local) seen by Utils/Server info

    There's no backup-button though.

    Hi BekahRuth.

What do you see at Utils/Server info 'safe_mode' at the master value?

    SOLVED!!!

Both the LOCAL VALUE and MASTER VALUE of Safe_Mode has to be 'OFF'.

Only LOCAL VALUE: 'off' didn't work.

    I've root-access to the server so I can change this in etc/php.ini >>> Safe_Mode = OFF
The path to php.ini you can find with Utils/Serf Info 'Configuration File (php.ini) Path'.

If you don't have accsess to server you have to ask your hoster to change it.

    and now what I do?
Simple. Send two critical notes to your web hosting service requesting an upgrade of your PHP version and mySQL version. Both are very old. It is highly possible that you might be encountering these issues for those particular reasons.
