    Default Microformats and Zen Cart

I was looking to add microformats to some areas of Zen Cart such as in contact information and possibly in page that would keep track of events.

I am hard coding some, but I would like to know if anyone has also attempted to integrate microformats into Zen Cart that can be exported by such as Operator (Firefox extension) or directly and if they had any advice?

Micro formats are in the early stages of development and acceptance, so you may not find too many other people using them yet. It is also on my (very long) list of TODOs, but I suspect you are probably the trail blazer. So even if you don't get other responses, please do post more about what you are doing and I will be happy to help refine it.

Well I was basically following the microformats standards. I thought the most logical place was to start with putting in contact information.

I added more lines into the contact us page in an attempt to make the vCard. Operator does recognize it, but does not show the name of the contact to be exported.

Where would I edit the main contact page so this could be placed in the contact page without having to add the extra lines in the define pages editor?

I have been checking into this as well. Anyone made progress or get it to work?

Sure. Just search for catalog-side uses of the <address> tag in your Zen Cart template files and replace them with HTML markup that conforms the hcard spec.
