Remove Product Price From Page Title

I've changed the "zen cart.. etc" that shows up in the browser title bar, what I'd like now is to stop the item code and price appearing there when I'm on a product info page.

Does anyone know how?

This is also controlled on a Per Product basis when you build your customized meta tags for each Product ...

Linda I followed the instructions above to remove the price globally but it did nt work. If I go to the per item meta the price is still enabled and if I change it there the change does not stick. I am using 138a with supertracker. Any ideas?

Two settings should be checked here ...

Configuration ... Product Info ...

Meta Tags - Include Product Price in Title
Do you want to include the Product Price in the Meta Tag Title?

0= off 1= on

Then on the individual Product when adding/editing the Product's Meta Tags ...

NOTE: unless there is a Meta Tag for the product, there isn't a setting to save for the Product Price in the Meta Tag ...

Example: If there is a keyword or description on the Product's meta tag, then the setting for the Price is "heard" and overrules the global setting ...

I think I understand, I see that in the catagories/products if nothing was typed in for the description and keywords also the title the change to do not show price in meta does not stick. So if there are no words its disabled?
I have it disabled globally in product info to not show the product price.
Or do I need to type description and keywords for each?

I did a reinstall about that time come to think of it. Googlebot must've showed up before I got all the settings finished.
