css problem

I've installed it seperately on both windows and linux servers multiple times on different databases, and its always the same problem, its as if the css file isnt present...

Hmmm. A Server 500 error, misconfiguration somewhere or an immediate template problem. All of your config files are set-up okay?

The page source is apparently trying to pull the files from Classic, so that's what you must have set in your Admin. Did you try to upload and install a contributed template from here? Then you could see if that works for you and enable you to track down why the Classic isn't working.

I have tried installing other templates also and the same things happen....

Hmm.. must be a configuration error for sure. Could be an ht access problem or ??

Yikes, I'm getting nothing now.. a big 404 Not Found.

I get a Page not found 404 error, so it's your server, and very likely it's your .htaccess files, as suggested by the previous responder.
