Default "confirmed address" issue - PayPal Express Checkout

I'm testing my new store and when I try to process a paypal payment I get the error:

The address you selected at PayPal is not a Confirmed address. Please return to PayPal and select or add a confirmed address and try again.
I've checked and both the email address and mailing address are confirmed in both my personal and our business paypal accounts (the 2 accounts involved in this transaction). I don't know what else to do. I've searched help and the forums and not come up with a solution. Any ideas?

    1. turn on PayPal debug logging:
    a) Admin->Modules->Payment->yourpaypalmodule->Edit -- > Debug mode: Log to File
    b) make sure the /includes/modules/payment/paypal/logs folder is writable chmod 777

    2. do another test transaction

    3. zip and post a copy of the files found in the logs folder from 1(b) above.

    1. Make sure you've patched to the latest version of the PayPal modules.
    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56216

    2. Go to your Zen Cart admin area and edit your PayPal Express Checkout settings. If you don't want to ensure that your customers only use a confirmed address, make sure "require confirmed address" is set to "no":
    Express Checkout: Require Confirmed Address
Do you want to require that your customers use a *confirmed* address when choosing their shipping address in PayPal?
    - Yes
    - No
    3. If there is still a problem, ensure that debug logging is enabled, do some tests, and post a link to the zipped log files.

Hi. Where do I find instructions for testing paypal express? Presumably you make a test transaction then refund yourself.

Exactly. Just do a real transaction, and then refund it.

    hmmm.

Looks like it was a problem with the way I entered my address.
I just edited the address and now it takes me through to paypal.

But the weird thing is that I have "confirmed address" set to NO in the paypal express module configuration...

    strange.
