Discount based on Total Order Weight

How could i apply a 10% discount to an entire order when a certain weight has been reached in the total order?

e.g. 500g weight order is made (can be 500g of one item or 500g made up of other items) - 10% is taken off the total price

did you ever find the module to produce a discount based on the total weight of the cart?

Did anyone figure this one out? Is this possible with Zen Cart? Is there a SaleMaker by weight?

I would look at the Low Order Fee ot_loworder Order Totals module ... and see if it couldn't be re-worked to use the weight and add a discount rather than an extra charge ...
