    Default Getting this error after installation

    Sorry!
    There seems to be a problem connecting to our database. Please give us a few minutes to remedy the problem. Thank you.



    I didnt have any problems with the initial installation process. I have check mySQL database and database has been created. I have checked that i have a default template installed (classic green). The admin section works fine.

    This is the page link i get for my catalog.

    Anyone able to help me out here?

    The message means what it says...

    Make sure you have set the two CONFIGURE.PHP files correctly. It would seem that if you can get into ADMIN, then its configure.php in your catalogue/includes that's at fault.

    If you cant get in under ADMIN as well, make sure that your database can be accessed from other IP addresses. This is a setting on your server, and if you use C-Panel it's quite easy to do. Ask your host if you're unsure of where/how to do this.
