Default Reinstalled Zen, have some questions...

I have just reinstalled Zen Cart, due to some issues with the configure.php files.
Reinstall went well... but my zen store doesn't seem to be in the right place. When I type in my domain name jemenvy.com, no store.
It seems to be located at jemenvy.com/emporium.
Can someone tell me how to get it back in the right place???
I'm hoping this is an easy quick fix...

    Also, I have the error;
Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/mystore/public_html/morning/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file (read-only, CHMOD 644 or 444 are typical). You may need to use your webhost control panel/file-manager to change the permissions effectively. Contact your webhost for assistance.

I have not been able to change the permissions. I have physically done it several times, using my webhost control panel... but the error isn't going away. Any thoughts??

Well you are right back to where you started....

You installed this there by having the files in /emporium if you wanted this at the root / then the files should have been there.

To correct you have to FTP a copy of the 2 configure.php files to your PC - open them in a PLAIN text editor and change every instance of /emporium/ to /
Save and FTP them back to your server.

Then using the FTP tool - with /emporium open select all the files and folders there and drop them on the folder at the top to move them all one level up. This if done correctly will allow the now relocated store files and the edited configure files to point to where you have moved the store - or to the root

You do have a problem. Because the store isn't in the emporium folder, it's in the morning folder according to this.

    /home/mystore/public_html/morning/includes/configure.php

But that's ok. all you need to do is copy all the files to your public_html folder, then edit the configure.php file.

Once you have the configure.php file search for the word path. Change the code by removing the subdirectory morning.

Thank you Kobra!! That worked perfectly.

Any thoughts on the why I can't get the CHMOD 644 or 444 permissions to stick to configure.php file?

    Thanks again for your help.

    Sorry, I should clarify...

Configure .php is now in the right place, but still doesn't want to change permissions. It shows as being 644, but I still get the error message.

    Not sure why?

Are you trying to set the chmod with FTP?

Some hosting configs balk at this and require that this be set from indide their management portal. If this also does not work contact them and have them either instruct you on how to do this or set it for you and set this to 444 for these files
