Same problem here as well. I can't change the options in the Paypal module admin area. Also, in the last couple of days, now I can't even get to that page! It says Internet Explorer can't display that page. It won't open with IE, FF, or AOL browser.

Any patches for this? I want to use PayPal, but now the page won't even open!

I backed up everything first. Didn't have any other payment module contributions, so I deleted everything in includes/module/payment. I then re-installed it will an original copy of these files which I had backed up previously. I then re-applied the latest patch for this module. And presto - it now works fine!

What may have happened is that the directory:
    /includes/modules/payment

had copies or backups of a payment module and was throwing errors ...

This is common on self loading directories as we do not know what all files you may load into them so all files found are attempted to be loaded ...

Usually when you want to save a copy changing the name from:
    my_filename.php

    to something like these:
    my_filename.php_GOOD1
    my_filename.php_SAVE3
    my_filename.php_ORI
    my_filename.php_BAK

More or less adding the underscore something on the extention will disassociate the file with what is being looked for when the files are loaded ...
