Upgraded to Zen1.3 and Search Does Not Work!

I upgraded from 1.27 to 1.37 and when I go to search for something on my website, it goes to the front page. I tried reloading

/includes/modules/pages/advanced_search_result/*.*
/includes/modules/pages/advanced_search/*.*

and

/includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_advanced_search_result_default.php
/includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_advanced_search_default.php

and it did not work.

When I do a fresh install the search works great. I only have trouble when I upgrade.

Sounds like something was missed and a file or files may be out of date ...

Are you talking about my customized files? I have done all I know to write over those files with the zen13 full file set. Could it be something with the Database? If so what files do I need to reset?

Ok another problem that could be the same problem. When I browse a category and try to go to the next page it stay on the first page.

I do not see any products on the site to even test this ...

Ok I upgraded, but I had to use operations in phpmyadmin and manually copy data to each table. Thanks
