Default Admin Panel not functioning Correctly?(ScreenShots)

I just installed Zen Cart Last night and everything looked perfect (although I couldnt get it to automatically link to my phpBB forum, but I will fix that later).

The reason I am here is because even the Admin Panel looked great I looked around at all the options for a few hours even..everything worked/looked fine in it. I get up this morning to continue seeing what I can do and start customizing, but as soon as I log in (well the log in looked obscured also:

So when I log in nothing works right:

Nor looks right (notice the lack of imagines and such):

Notice I cant adjust the Banner display dates among other things:

    Here are my stats:
    Host:Go Daddy
    Server OS: Linux 2.4.21-27.ELsmp
    PHP Version: 4.3.11 (Zend: 1.3.0)
    Database: MySQL 5.0.37-log
    HTTP Server: Apache
    Version: Zen Cart-1.3.7
(if anything else let me know)

So What can I do?..Or even what might have happened?
Thanks for any and all help

Edit: Oh and as far as I can tell the store side looks perfectly fine

Could you try reloading all your files for the:
    /admin

via FTP from a clean Zen Cart v1.3.7 from our Downloads link at the top of your screen?

Also, don't forget the current Patch at:

looks like the css file for the admin is currupt,

    try re-uploading the
admin/includes/ ALL OF THE STYLE SHEETS

    there is
    cssjsmenuhover
    index
    menu
    nde-basic
    stylesheet

see if these help you out,

also take a look at the images folder in admin

make sure its there with all images

just to add, i've got it sorted !!!! yippeeeee

sorry it's been a very long and sleepless weekend, but if you search the forum for " streamline.net" you might find the answer. i had to re-name the .htacces files. my site is ok now.

forgiveme if this is wrong, but...these are the ones i changed the name of..
    admin/htaccess
    admin/inculdes/htaccess
    "main store directory"/includes/htaccess

for some reason on a linux server these files stop pages from reading the css. it might be the same for you?? this was for a "streamline" server

hope this helps a bit, lack of sleep and far too much red wine to give any more details ;)

I'm in a very similar situation. Your screenshots look exactly like my site.
I just moved from a Windows hosted to a Linux hosted server.
I contacted my hosts' (fasthosts.co.uk) support guy because some buttons weren't showing and he said there is a problem with your .htaccess file in /zenshop2/includes/.htaccess so he renamed my file and now the buttons are working.
When I look in my .htaccess file there doesn't seem to be anything of worth in there just the following...

    # $Id: .htaccess 1105 2005-04-04 22:05:35Z birdbrain $
    #
    # This is used with Apache WebServers
    # The following blocks direct HTTP requests in this directory recursively
    #
    # For this to work, you must include the parameter 'Limit' to the AllowOverride configuration
    #
    # Example:
    #
    #<Directory "/usr/local/apache/htdocs">
    # AllowOverride Limit
    #
    # 'All' with also work. (This configuration is in your apache/conf/httpd.conf file)
    #
    # This does not affect PHP include/require functions
    #
    # Example: http://server/catalog/includes/application_top.php will not work

    <Files *.php>
    Order Deny,Allow
    Deny from all
    </Files>

And he then says to check my error logs in my ftp space for more information.

    whatever that means.
Can you explain what .htaccess files are for? Why does deleting them make things work?

    Cheers for any input.

    Steven
