    Default Don't log customer in after registration??

    Is there a setting in the admin that can be set so the customer is not logged in after account registration. I want the customer to complete registration and get the confirmation page, but not be logged in at that time. I have set up for them to receive an e-mail with a system generated password which they can use to login.

    You may wish to consider using something like Configuration->Customer Details->Customer Approval Status - Authorization Pending, and have your email point him to a page that updates the approval status.
