Anyone interested in the auction mod?

Hi all,

I have the auction mod fairly stable and will actually be using it on my website starting April 1st.

I was wondering how many others were interested in this mod?

If you are, please post your info here and I will send you a copy of the work I have done. Post the following:
Link to your website and what products you would use the auction mod for.

I will plan on sending the copies out April 16, 2007 after I have had a run with it for two weeks.

I am not releasing it openly due to the fact I do not have time to answer questions and not even remotely familier with coding this.

Anyone interesting in helping with codeing this as well please post your interest here.

Why not release it publicly and let the community help with it instead of leaving it all on your own shoulders if you're not comfortable with supporting it solo ?

If it's not released publicly, it can only get as good or as popular as you make it to be. If you share it, its popularity can grow.

Just a thought.

I agree with Dr. Byte. It would be a pretty cool add-on for lots of sites and the community is just the place for it to develop and grow.

I've seen alot of excitement of this mod way back to 1.2 and I wish I could say I have all the bugs worked out, but I can't. The files in this thing effect almost every aspect of the shop from the database to the simplest file such as previous / next. I don't have a problem putting it out there but I don't think anyone has even looked at what I've done with it. I even got the emails to work.
(I think) I could use a tester just for that.

My recommendation is, register at my site and take a look at the auctions I have open at the moment and see what I have done with it. Most of you may not like it, maybe you will.

Take a look and if there enough interest I'll be glad to put it out there and work with everyone, but at the moment I don't think many are interest.

Yea the defines are the last thing I'm worried about at the moment. I could use a tester that is willing to use a valid email so I know I'm not getting the administration emails....HTML and TEXT.....Thanks for looking!

I went to your site to look at the auction, registered and still didn't see anything. I would like to try out the auction mod either in a test or to install it. My intention is to use it to sell items for games, I have an auction site, rpg-auction.com but would like to use this for a slightly different purpose.
