Is it possible to have a different css used in your better categories mod for each category. I am looking to have different colour backgrounds through out the site for each category and its sub categories. Can this also be reflected in the bettercategories css.


Could I put the styles into the main style sheet and into the category style sheet and therefore use the existing naming conventions.

If so what is determining the stylesheet used?

If I understand you correctly you want each page to have a different backgound colour depending on categories.
It wouldn't really have anything to do with the bettercategories mod.

You could start with the productlisting page
Test for the current category & with a big if statement set the class that is used for that page. That class would then be used for the background colours.
It would be a bit hard coded but it could be done.
Use a separate css file for this stuff
There would be a number of exceptions that could bite you and cause some grief.

but... how can i change the background color for that , i use the green zen and i like somthing more natural to go aloeg my site

it is me again

well i figure it out abut the colors.

but i still need some help, i have catagory with sub catgory and catagory with out sub, the way it look is the catgories with out sub lookd like the are subs of the above catgories.

any way i can add a diffrend icon to the sub catgories so the look diffrend?

i am still trying to install the catgories by fly , am sure whan i do that it will look better, but untill i got some oen to responed to my thread i like to fix this one
