Special characters dislapys wrong on a single page...

I have a problem with special characters as å, ä, ö. They displays correct on all of my pages...but not when a customer tries to login or register on the page: index.php?main_page=login

When a customer registers and save info it results in a strange set of characters as: Sävsjö instead becomes Sävsjö

If the customer login in on the page and changes the information that displays wrong and saves it again it displays correct.

(I have tried to replace some of the characters (å,ä,ö) with correct html-encoding thats why some of them displays correct)

Some help would be nice...

Hur löste du det hela? har samma problem som du, men du verkar ju ha löst det.

My solution was that there was two of my languages files saved with the format UTF-8 instead of ANSI.

Jo, jag kollade runt lite och blev helt vansing på att inte hitta något svar. Tillslut gick jag igenom alla filer och hittade att två st var sparade i UTF-8. Det var säkert jag som klantade till det när jag sparade dem. Givetvis är det motsvarande fil vars text dyker upp på den sidan som är konstig.

Så lösningen är: Öppna de svenska filerna du kan tänka dig är fel på i notepad eller vad du nu använder. Kolla om de är sparade i ANSI eller UTF-8 och sparar om dem till ANSI. Det funkade för mig!
