    Default SSL Partial Encryption

I have searched the forums for the answer but oddly enough. I can't find an exact step by step answer.

The SSL Cert is installed and working fine shy of the "Partial Encryption".

In Firefox when I click on the crossed out lock in the broswer status bar it does show me the 1. Forms, 2. Links and 3. Media that is not being pulled from a secured (https) page.

However, how do I fix this? Do I contact my hosting provider and tell them to make all of my folders SSL accessible?

Do I duplicate these folders? If so, what are the steps?

Am I suppose to go in the backend and manually change in and everyone? If so, where in the backend?

Some of these links and forms (the search form for example) is Zen Cart programmed. It is not my modification.

Also I am not using the Google Analytics (sp) plugin.

Additionally, all of my products are coming up under the http:// and not the https://. Is there a setting in the backend I have not changed?

    All help is greatly appreciated.

Because encryption slows things down. the catalog is usually http...as there is no sensitive info being exchanged.

A broken lock, your crossed out lock, indicates that this is not installed so that it will function Would need to know more to advise a cure

the ONLY things that should be coming up ssl are login, create account, account hoistory and any page with checkout in the URL

and if you are inserting images manually , from another site are are running an included script like google anylitical then you can get the broken lock, that is because there is something on the page called with <src="http://

Thank you all! It was an image.

    How I fixed it.

    1. Developer's Toolkit
I searched for "src=" (without the quotes)

    2. On the results I searched for ".com" (without the quotes)

    3. On the media files I went into each file and removed the web address.
For ex. http://yoursite.com/images/rabbcon.jpg was changed to /images/rabbcon.jpg

For others, I hope this helps.

Thank you again. It put me on the right track to solving my problem.

Oh! Also, If you want to remove the warning message that are triggered by the www. or no www. then just adjust it in your config files.

For ex. My CSR was generated as mysite.com (not www.mysite.com) so in the config files I removed the www. on the SSL URL.

    Thanks!
