I.E. 7 issue

Hi,

My website looks fine in firefox, netscape and i.e.6 but in I.e.7. the side columns and middle column are bumped up into my logo bar. is there a way for me to move it down but not affect the way it looks in the other browsers.

I'm using zen 1.3.7

I've tried looking in the css sheet, but I'm not sure where to change the settings for this.

Hi,

Friends of mine have reported the same problem to me with my site but I haven't been able to do much about yet because the only computers i own are Macs!

If anyone can solve this problem I'd love to know too

your problem is with your header image, banner2.jpg. In the generated html width and height are set. Height is set to 107px, however in your css ,logoWrapper defines a height of 75px. You can remove the height in the css altogether and you should be laughing.

On a side note. If you use firefox you should check out these extensions, if you haven't already, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60 and https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843 very handy for debugging this kind of stuff.

so resizing the image so it was 72 worked perfectly for the original issue but for some reason even thought i didn't change the width , the banner pushed out to the right past the column so i made the width smaller and now i have a banner that doesn't fit the width of the zen page.

I ened up just changing the width to the image to fit the screen :) Thanks Tomzo for your solution, works now in IE 7. yayyyy
