Big problem - blank page after updating files

Hi,

Have a big big problem here. I updated the files create_account.php and create_account_success.php and saved them in the override directory. Now everytime I create a new account, the screen goes blank and I do not see the confirmation screen. However, the account does get created as I receive the welcome email as well as am able to login using the new account.

I moved the files from the override directory back to the original directory and still same problem. Even after deleting the files from the override directory and restoring the backup original files to the default directory it still gives me a blank screen. This is really weird as everything worked before I made any changes. Theoratically the files now are exactly the same as before I made any changes.

I also noticed that after I made changes to account_edit, I don't get the confirmation screen after modifying my account.

Hi,

After looking through the error logs, this is probably the problem. Does anyone know how this came about and how i can fix it?

Hi all,

I see the following error in the logs after trying today. Line 142 of create_account.php is a commented out line. The files are restored to the originals, yet I'm still getting a blank screen.

Any suggestions? I can't do a reinstall as a lot of data has been keyed in and the store is semi-live.
