There are many sideboxes in Zen Cart ...

You have turned on the sidebox called:
    sideboxes/information.php

You have turned off the sidebox called:
    sideboxes/more_information.php

Page 2 is in the sidebox called:
    sideboxes/more_information.php

Turn on that sidebox in the Tools ... Layout Boxes Controller ...

Does the link work better for you?

    Ookay. Thanks!

I turned on more_information and turned off pages 3 and 4 so just page 2 is showing in the more info box.

I still don't understand what is meant by "show the link and not show the text" though.

How do I change the link text to say something other than "Page 2"?

    Thanks...

    Doug-

Have you thought to check out the Tutorials and FAQ section for the questions you have? Might be faster than waiting on someone to answer.

Sometimes ... you have the text for some of the pages in the language files such as:
    /includes/languages/english/your_template_dir/page2.php

Sometimes ... you are using the Define Page Editor ... which stores the text in:
    /includes/languages/english/html_includes/your_template_dir/define_page_2.php

Sometimes you want the linked turned OFF ...

Sometimes you want the define page text turned OFF ...

Sometimes you want the linked turned ON ...

Sometimes you want the define page text turned ON ...

Sometimes we try to make this easier by giving you a switch or configuration setting ... so you do not have to think ...

Hi, Kim. Yes, I have found the Tutorials useful. I usually post here after searching there first.

But... I see somebody has posted an answer almost simultaneously with yours! :)

I think I am having a terminology confusion maybe.

What I don't understand is - what does it MEAN to have a link with no text in the link?

The other combinations all make sense to me. But a link with nothing to click on is what confuses me.

According to the Tutorial and FAQ section it says to modify page_2.php in order to change the name to something else.

I modified that, but the actual text in the link in the more info box still says "page 2". That's why I'm still confused.

    Thanks,

The "link" is a clickable link in the various places where said link may appear, such as the information sidebox or the site map, etc.

The "text" refers to the output content ... ie: the HTML code, content, text, copy, whatever you want to call it, that you typed into the Define Pages Editor for that particular page. In the case of the "Contact Us" page, for example, there is a spot "above" the address information where the Define Page content for define_contact_us gets displayed. If you have the "text" option for the Contact us page turned off in Admin->Config->Define Pages, then said "text" will not appear.
If you also have the "link" turned off, then the "link" will not appear either.

I have a choice of a Link or No Link on the more_information sidebox to Page 2 ...

If I set this to Link No Text I see the LINK in the sidebox for Page 2 and when I get to Page 2 I see NO TEXT from the Define Page Editor that is for Page 2 ...

If I set this to Link YES Text I see the LINK in the sidebox for Page 2 and when I get to Page 2 I see TEXT from the Define Page Editor that is for Page 2 ...

So the text refers to the define page editor contents for that page? But why would you want a link that goes to a page which didn't display anything?
