help question Session related error on logout --Need HELP

Hi ,
I am getting the following errors during logout :
Warning: session_destroy() function.session-destroy: Session object destruction failed in \httpdocs\includes\functions\sessions.php on line 140

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at \httpdocs\includes\functions\sessions.php:140) in \httpdocs\includes\functions\functions_general.php on line 44

My Configuration is as follows:

ZenCart V1.3.6
PHP 5.2.0
IIS 6.0
Windows 2003
MySql 5.0.22

PHP.ini has the following settings:
Session_support ENABLED
session.save_path c:\windows\temp this directory is READONLY

I also have changed configure.php files in the admin\include and includes to have ‘STORE_SESSIONS’ as file based instead of db

thanks for your help in advance....

Sounds like you have the php 5.2 bug where it is throwing errors ...

This has been fixed in Zen Cart v1.3.7 plus the latest update patch for PayPal:

Upgrading will correct ...

There is a temp fix that you can try if for some reason you cannot upgrade at this time ... post #26 helps explain it ...

Ajeh,
thanks for the quick response...

I have already tried option a) in the Post # 26 configure.php file:
define('STORE_SESSIONS', '');
before trying option a) I was getting whole bunch of other session related errors. Now I am getting error only during Logout.

I have not tried option b) since dr Byte mentioned it has not been thoroughly tested..

Also, I want to mention that I don't get any errors when I Logoff from ADMIN..

You could download from our Download link at the top of your screen a clean Zen Cart v1.3.7 and see how this issue has been addressed ...

Naturally the better choice is to upgrade ...
