new install, physical path is incorrect

Hi everyone, this is a new zen cart installation I'm having trouble with:

Preface
I dont know PHP, dont know anything about SQL, but I am persistent and kind of good at following directions...(we'll see):

Situation:
At the "system setup" step, the installer does not accept my zen cart physical path:
"Physical path is incorrect"

the physical path I'm trying is:
home/engrave/public_html/istore

(made zencart's folder name "istore")

I have also tried just about ever permutation (you should see my browser's auto-fill when I start trying paths! )

What I've done so far:
• I followed the installation steps line by line double checking the permissions for the uploaded files...
• I had to make a .htacess file that I put in the zen cart main directory, this is what I put in the file:
php_value session.use_trans_sid off
php_value register_globals off
#php_value register_globals off
php_flag session.use_trans_sid off
<Files ".ht*">
deny from all
</Files>
(I have no idea what this code means but I copied it from the manual)

Other info:
my provider is IPower web hosting
MySQL 4.0.16 running on localhost as engravee@localhost
Using transmit (OS X) to edit the files on my server.

no luck... I tried:
/home/engrave/public_html/istore/
and
/home/engrave/public_html/istore
and
home/engrave/public_html/istore

Hold on a minute, I tried again:

/home/engravee/public_html/istore

and got back:

[FONT="Times New Roman"]Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /istore/zc_install/index.php could not be found on this server.

Apache Server at engravee.com Port 80[/FONT]

I'd say this is something rather than nothing, I'm investigating. If you might have any tips I'd appreciate it!

Got it. I ended up re uploading the zc installer folder, seemed to fix everything.
