Free Shipping in the UK, not worldwide

Hi,

We are trying to set up international ordering through our UK based shop. At the moment it is set up so that any order under £50 is charged £2.50 shipping, whereas any order over £50 is free shipping.

The foreign shipping is set up via weight, depending on whether they're within the EU or not. They will not have the free shipping for over £50.

I have the following modules installed:

flat rate enabled, Value 2.50, Shipping Zone: UK (which is a zone set up with all UK Counties)

free shipping enabled, over 50.00, shipping zone: UK

Zone Rates (dependent on weight):

Zone 1 is the EU
Zone 2 is the Rest Of the World

Now when I come to order from, say a US account, and the order is under £50, then the shipping rate is Zone 2 shipping dependent on Weight, but should the order be over £50, then the shipping is free shipping. Any suggestions on why this is?

Any ideas, or should you need any further information, would be great fully received.

I am guessing that you set the Free Shipping on orders over 50.00 for the UK in:

Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping ...

And that you configured this for:

Enabled true
Allow Free Shipping true
Free Shipping over 50.00
Provide Free Shipping For Orders Made national

The other method, and you do not make clear which you are using:

free shipping enabled, over 50.00, shipping zone: UK

Would be to use the Modules ... Shipping ...
Free Shipping Options freeoptions

Configure this for Total >= 50

Leave all others blank ...

And set your Zone to the UK ...

Thanks! I had both of them enabled. I disabled the former one, and it works :)
