I dont know if there is a post on this but i did not find it...
if anyone know a post please let me know

Here is my issue...

I setup the account with USPS and hade my account move over to the production side
and change the link in the usps.php file to

Production.ShippingAPIs.com/ShippingAPI.dll

but i still get this message...

United Parcel Service
We are unable to obtain a rate quote for UPS shipping.
Please contact the store if no other alternative is shown.

and this one for UPS too...

United States Postal Service
We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)


does anyone know how to correct this?

I am having this same issue with UPS module.

I am currently behind a firewall that doesn't allow any traffic to the web from the server. It only allows incomming traffic such as HTTP and HTTPS. I know that I need to tweek my firewall to allow traffic from my server to UPS to allow the communication for a rate quote. However I don't know exactly what the URL exception should be on my firewall.

Does anyone know the URL that will allow the rate quote communication?

I think it could be the following but I'm not a firewall guru.

and
http://*.ups.com
