    help question Error: File upload not saved

    Hi I’m having some trouble uploading images onto a Zen Cart system which I have just installed on our server. The system worked locally and all the image folders on the server are set to chmod 777 but when I try and upload an image I get “Error: File upload not saved”. I am able to upload images via my ftp but as this system is for a client that isn’t really a feasible option. Do you have any ideas on what could be causing this issue?

    The URL is http://www.aslamart.net/ if that is any help.

    Check the permissions again on:
    /images

    and all subdirectories ...

    Then check the group permissions on the images that you loaded via FTP to ensure that they are not different ...

    I cannot test anything on your site as it is Down for Maintenance ...

    I've checked /images and all subdirectories they are definitly set to 777.

    When I upload images via ftp they are set to 644 but these work fine in Zen Cart.

    The problem is my client isnt overly computer literate so they need to be able to upload via the admin backend. Does anyone have any other sugesstions on what might be causing this?

    Are you trying to upload existing images or brand new images?

    I had tried both but neither worked. It turned out to be a problem with our server host which we have now sorted but thanks anyway.
