Default Altering the load image code, is it possible?

Ok, I am keeping my images in the directory http://www.mydomain.com/images but when i load them to display on the page i want to make it look like they are coming from a different domain (for example, http://GRAPHICS.mydomain.com/images) is there a magic switch in Zen Cart that allow me to do that? or do i need to do lots of editing and what file should i edit? Thanks, i appreciate any help.

Make them appear that they are from another domain or actually load from a diferent domain?

    If the first, why?

    Actually it is the first.

The reason for that to give it some speed when loading, at least from http://www.websiteoptimization.com/ point of view since i believe that they only check for graphics, html, etc. which loaded from the domain itself only but not when the images coming from another domain.

What seems to be the problem with the speed? If your images are too large your site will be slow to load no matter what.

You might be able to fool the optimization checker into thinking that your site ought to be faster, but it will have no effect on reality.

The speed is fine with me, just was wondering if that could be done.

    No argument there.
