    help question Inserting Comma for Auto-Generated Keywords

    Hi, this was a question raised a long time ago but the archived answer is not accessible now.

    I just thought it unusual for the meta tag keywords auto generated by ZC to not be comma separated. Would that affect my website's ranking with search engines. Is it necessary to comma-separate those keywords? If so, how may I accomplish that?

    TIA.

    If you prefer a comma, simply add it into the default configuration:

    /includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE_NAME/meta_tags.php

    Code:
    // Define divider ... usually just a space or a comma plus a space
      define('METATAGS_DIVIDER', ' ');

    Thanks Doc. I'm not familiar with the SEO thingy, does the comma plays a part in assisting search engine indexing?

    Along a similar line, where should I input the Meta tag Description for the homepage? At my site, both the Meta tag Description and Keywords shows very similar words, I wish to change the Description to be more sentence-like rather than comma-delimited. Thanks.
